Sreedhar Vengala Photography is now Momentra Studios
Same photographers, same warm-toned look, new name and a bigger studio behind it. Here's the story of the change — and what the word Momentra actually means.

If you've landed here after typing my old name into Google — welcome, you're in the right place. Sreedhar Vengala Photography has a new name: Momentra Studios. Same people behind the camera, same warm-toned, cinematic look, new home at momentrastudios.com.
Here's why, and what it means for you.
Why change a name that was working?
For a few years this business was, quite literally, me — my name on the site, my finger on the shutter. But the work grew past one person. What started as wedding and portrait photography became films, brand campaigns, corporate events, and lately, projects that don't fit under one person's name at all.
A studio deserved a studio's name. And more importantly, this was never really a one-person show anymore.
The name: moment + mantra
Momentra is two words folded together: moment and mantra.
A mantra is something you return to — a phrase repeated until it becomes part of you. In Sanskrit, the word literally means an instrument of the mind. That's what we believe a photograph should be. Not just a record of a moment, but one you'll keep returning to — an image that works on you the way a mantra does, a little more each time.
Cinematic moments. Honest stories. That part hasn't changed — it's just that now the name says it too.
Meet Madhavi
The best part of the studio era: there are two of us now, officially.
Madhavi is Momentra's founder and a photographer with a gift I've spent years trying to learn — making people forget the camera is there. She's drawn to the quiet frames: the look between two people before the speeches, the details everyone else walks past. If you book a family session, a celebration, or a personal portrait with us, there's a good chance you'll be photographed by her — and you'll be more relaxed for it.
You can read more about both of us on the About page.
What's new
The rebrand isn't just a new sign on the same shop. Three new services are joining photography, videography, and event coverage:
AI video creation. We now blend what we shoot with what we generate — using the latest AI video models alongside our cinema cameras to make brand films, product ads, and explainers in days instead of months. AI does the impossible shots; we keep the taste.
Business & events. Conferences, galas, and launches, covered like stories — with highlight films delivered while the momentum is still warm.
Podcast studios. From a spare room to a broadcast-ready setup: we design the studio, record multi-cam, edit, cut clips for social, and handle publishing. You talk; everything else is handled.
The full details are on the Services page.
What stays exactly the same
The people, the look, and the promise. Weddings, portraits, and films remain the heart of what we do. The old site will keep pointing you here, our galleries and past work are all intact, and if you've got my number, it still rings the same phone.
The one update worth saving: our email is now hello@momentrastudios.com.
Thank you
To everyone who booked, referred, and trusted a photography business that carried one person's name — thank you. You're the reason it outgrew that name. If you've got a moment worth keeping, we'd love to hear about it: get in touch.
